Hi Alisson,

MMS is a touch more involved. Yes you can send the message as you suggest, but the trouble comes with the receipt of it. Since the recipient only receives a notification (which contains a URL for fetching the message), you must at the very least know the IP assigned to your GPRS connection, so that mbuni can construct the correct URL for the recipient.

Well, I'm new to MMS concepts but I'd like to know the basic
requirements for me to send an MMS from my PC to my mobile phone. I've
heard the process is:

connect to GPRS (?) -> connect to WAP gateway (kannel) -> connect to
MMSC (mbuni)

is that right? If so, what do you mean by "connect to GPRS"? Do I need
a modem with GPRS support or that's not necessary since I am not
using my local operator's MMSC?
Thanks in advance.
