The short answer is that Mbuni cannot do this as-is. It is not clear to me for starters how this would work... Where would the MMSC get the alternative message to send? Would it (logically) be the same message, and who decides that. Too many questions, so we stuck with doing what the spec says: Content adaptation.

But you can achieve what you want by replacing Mbuni's content adaptation module with your own. That way, it does as you please.

Hi,

My problem is that I would like to send the 'same' MMS for many
people, but instead of using the content-adaptation I would like to
give a couple of alternative MMSs. And when the phone comes for it's
MMS the MMSC should only choose which alternative MMS would fit for
that phone (this would be given explicitly). Is this solvable using
Mbuni?
I thought that mmssend might be capable to do this with a proper
config file but I haven't found too much about it and I don't even
know whether mmssend is working or not.
Please give me some ideas how I should face this problem.

Thanks in advance!
