I found libiconv.2.4.0.dylib and /usr/lib/libxml2.2.6.17.dylib in another Mac OS (PPC) machine. I'm not sure if I can just copy over these files to the /usr/lib dir of the machine I'm trying to compile mbuni.
Anyways, I did that -- starting from make clean in Kannel and onwards. Hit into exactly the same problem at the same point of failure. I guess I can't just copy over the library files. Could you pls advice how I can do the upgrade of the libs? I only have command line access to the machine I need to install. Thanks so much for your help. You are using libxml2 v2.2. Upgrade to at least v2.6. If that succeeds then (hopefully) so should the compilation. While you are at it, you may also want to upgrade libiconv to v2.4 before updating libxml2, and see if that helps.
