Hi,
Now I have configured the Mbuni so that my VAS application is able to submit
message. But my actual requirement is i want to do an end to end testing by
handling the delivery report and read report in my VAS application from Mbuni
MMSC. I have two choices here,
1. using an emulator client to receive the message .
2 . using an email client to receive the message.
If i go for 1st option, i m not getting any emulator to do the same (
please point me to some emulator to download). If i go for the 2nd option, will
the MMSC be able to give me delivery report and read report? ( because email
system only provides read receipt right?)
Please give me some ideas on how can i use mbuni for my testing...
Thanks,
Vijay

The Openwave mms library should work just fine. Don't expect things to "just
work" right away, since you naturally need to ensure user names, passwords,
port numbers and such are correct. If all that is in place, you will find
better help here if you post all or part of the error log on the mbuni side.

Hi,
I m developing a MMS VAS application using openwave mms library and I want to
test it using Mbuni server. I dont have any clues on how to use Mbuni for
this. So, can you please explain how to configure Mbuni server as VAS gateway.
I tried running only mmsbox by giving the command, mmsbox <mmsbox.conf file
path> and it came up fine. When we run our application by pointing to Mbuni we
are getting the following exception in our application side
IOException writing output to socket: Connection reset by peer: socket write
error(ClientError:2000)
Also kindly let me know if you know any MMS client to test in place of our
application to check with Mbuni.
Thanks in Advance,
Vijay
