Hi,
Silly question perhaps, but did you install and start mysql-server, and
added the correct "mysql-connection" and "dlr-db" groups to kannel.conf?
To install & start mysql-server:
# yum install mysql-server
# service mysql-server start
(I'm assuming this is a Fedora box based on the yum command; Kannel does
not have a hard dependency on mysql-server, since the mysql instance
need not be on the same machine)
The relevant kannel.conf sections can be found at:
http://kannel.org/download/1.4.3/userguide-1.4.3/userguide.html#AEN2917
Otherwise, if mysqld is running fine, just attach your kannel.conf and
I'll take a look at it; if in fact Kannel from the repository does not
have mysql support, we need to file a bug in the Fedora bugzilla to
rectify it.
Cheers,

Hi,
I installed Kannel with the yum command.
Do you know how I could configure mysql to work with kannel?
I don`t know if the kannel package from the yum command has support
for mysql.
In my configuration file I have:
dlr-storage = internal
And with this option kannel works, but if I change
to dlr-storage = mysql, it doesn`t work, even if I configure the
username and password.
Thanks for your attention!
