  Subject: MMS hubbing

  Hi,

I am interested to do MMS hubbing for providers and I was wondering if mbuni
is right for me. What I have found from mobile providers in Greece, is that if
an MMS is to be delivered to a cosmote mobile, you should relay it over MM4
(SMTP) to cosmote's MMSc. Then, they will handle all MM1 traffic (notification
& content delivery) to their customers. If i ask cosmote's customers to use my
MMSc in their mobile's configuration, they won't be able to get MMS from
anywhere else in the world (other mobiles, other operators).

In other words, mbuni is only for mobile providers. To do hubbing/relaying i
only need an MTA like sendmail or postfix, not mbuni. Is my understanding
correct? Is this the practice used in other parts of the world?

  TIA,
  Nikos
