Hi,
First of all, I would like to thank you guys for your
help for the past few days. I was finally be able to run mbuni in MMSC
mode.
However, that is not what I want to do with Mbuni. Before that, I would like
you guys to help me clarify something:
1. Is
it true that running Mbuni in MMSC mode requires my machine to have a
Public IP (for example: 60.25.X.X) for the receiver to download the MMS
from after they receive the SMS notification message on their phone?
2. If
(1) is true, the receiver will have to set their phone's MMS Setting to
point to my server's MMSC instead of their telco's MMSC?
3. Is
it true that if I set Mbuni in the VAS mode, I can directly send the
MMS to the receiver telco's MMSC and the receiver can directly download
from there?
4. If (3) is true, where can I find a working sample
configuration to run Mbuni in VAS mode besides the one provided in the
Mbuni source?
BTW, I have 2 modems that I can use for
testing - a Wavecom Q24 GSM/GPRS modem and a Sony Ericson W810i phone.
Can anyone send me some sample configuration for this 2 modem if possible?
