Given the mess of compilation errors I saw on our first M5 attempt, a
drop-in replacement was the last thing I expected.... but it seems to
have done just that.

I have also updated our project to use 2.0.0-M6. I have not (yet?)
noticed any differences in behaviour.
At least, it's not worst :)
