unidirectional

Hi,

Yet another question, and thanks for the help sofar;
Is there a way to make a relation unidirectional in the editors (the destination-object being visible to the source but not the other way around) but still keep the relation itself bidirectional by nature?

We are building a site that has a lot of complicated relations. I'd like to make it easier on the web-editors by giving them a more easy to understand parent-child like interface in the editors, but still be able to get all relations between objects bidirectionally in the site. Is this possible?
