Hi Francesco, yes sure to have an *alternative* RenderKit for XUL inside of Apache MyFaces would be fine.
BTW. I included last week a WML RenderKit, that was a contribution by a user. So now we have two RenderKits: -HTML (default) -WML Since XUL is not (for now...) my focus, I haven't really thought about creating such a RenderKit. I played a bit with XUL and found it nice. I tested some *sample apps* from German Java magazine. However, did you started with the development of such a XUL facily? BTW. the RI, shipped under the sun, contains a sample for XUL (non-jsp) HTH, Matthias > -----Original Message----- > From: Francesco Consumi [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2005 1:31 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: xul renderer > > > > Hi people, > > a question : will there ever be a xul renderer in MyFaces ? > the possibility of creating web and GUI applications from > same codebase > I think > is fascinating..... > > thanks for all hard work. > -- > Francesco Consumi > Ufficio Sistemi informativi > Istituto degli Innocenti > Piazza SS.Annunziata, 12 > 50122 Firenze > consumi at istitutodeglinnocenti.it > Tel. +39 055 2037320 > ICQ# 12516133 >
