escape attribute for h:commandLink

Hello,   I need the same functionality of escape attribute from h:outputText for h:commandLink. I know that this should be in JSF specification, but it is possible that this to be added to MyFaces?   Or, is there another way to get the same functionality with existing implementation?   Thanks, Alin.
