Opening a new window

Hi,

I would like to know if there are any solution to open a new (sub) window with MyFaces.  I have a button on my main page and on user clicc I would like to open a new window and display some data in it. Are there any other solutions than using _javascript_? Can the JSF navigation system handle that, and if yes how is it do-able?
