I managed to solve this problem using a couple of tricks:
1) The "redirect after post" pattern --> Use a <redirect/> in all your navigation rules
2) Use a _javascript_ "history.forward ();" at the beginning of each page

We are still struggling with the back button. I think we�ll reconfigure the app to store all state on the client.
