Well the recommended way is to use the maven-faces-plugin which I created some initial documentation on the WIKI for (link has already been provided in this thread). Other than that, looking for a volunteer to document a non-preferred method could take a while. The fastest way is for you to figure it out & write up a WIKI for others, although I know that you don't want to hear that.
