I've downloaded and have been using RC1. Overall it's working very well for me. I have a quick question - is it possible to develop for a different JDK than the one that NetBeans itself is running on? NB is using JDK 1.8 but I have set up a "JDK 10" platform. I can select this and choose JDK10 as my source/binary format in a Java SE project, but I cannot use features like 'var' (red errors in the IDE). However I can clean and build using NB, then run the JAR from the command line and it's OK. Should I be able to use a different JDK than the NetBeans one? Thanks Peter
