Hi,
thanks for the fast reply. But this propery does not change the image quality. The buttons have the same (physical) size on screen as they have on a non-hidpi display. In result the default 32x32 icons/images are upscaled, which is clearly visible. In my case the os scaling (windows) is set to 150%. So in my case icon with a size of 48x48 instead of the default 32x32 pixel would be nice. Regards, Andreas Von: Eirik Bakke <eba...@ultorg.com> Gesendet: Freitag, 3. But I think you have to tell Windows to let the application handle scaling itself. Create a shortcut to netbeans64.exe, then open the properties for the shortcut. Then go to the Compatibility tab->change HiDPI settings->check "Override high DPI scaling behavior" and pick "Application" from the dropdown. Please let us know if this solved the problem--if so, there might be something that should be done to the NetBeans launcher binary to automatically enable this setting. (Myself, I use the OpenJDK builds from https://www.azul.com/downloads/zulu/ . But they should be more or less identical to the Oracle builds, except for legal purposes.) -- Eirik From: Andreas Hauffe <andreas.hau...@tu-dresden.de <mailto:andreas.hau...@tu-dresden.de> > Sent: Friday, August 3, 2018 12:47 PM To: users@netbeans.apache.org <mailto:users@netbeans.apache.org> Subject: larger Icons Hi, is there a way to use larger icons in Netbeans or RCP applications on hidpi displays? When using netbeans 9 and JDK 10.0.2 on a hidpi display all icons are upscaled and look a bit strange. Regards, Andreas
