While I usually disregard these emails and tend to think that it's funny that competent people like programmers have problems unsubscribing from a simple mailing list, I've just noticed that it may be an inconsistency in the web page linked at the footer: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists There, the list is still named as "us...@netbeans.incubator.apache.org", instead as "users@netbeans.apache.org". And the "Unsubscribe" section at the bottom says: "Unsubscribe Send an e-mail to <shortname>-unsubscr...@netbeans.incubator.apache.org. For example, to unsubscribe from the users mailing list you would send an e-mail to users-unsubscr...@netbeans.incubator.apache.org. " Perhaps it needs a quick review to remove "incubator." appearances. Note, however, that the appended footer in emails contain the right unsubscribe address. I'm going to unsubscribe and subscribe again myself to check it.
