What you are saying is understandable but open source projects don't really
work this way. NetBeans is already unique with the QA NetCAT program which
does test releases via many volunteers but bugfixing does not happen like
this. Most fixes are "scratch your own itch".

For example, I use NetBeans (well, OpenBeans.org, but it's the same
codebase basically) exclusively on Mojave and didn't see that editor bug
nor crashes nor the IDE not starting. I think the editor bug (and maybe the
other issues you are seeing) are caused by the JDK you use for NetBeans. I
use AdoptOpenJDK 11.0.4 nowadays. What are you using ?

It's pretty interesting that your whole company is using it. Two thoughts
here:

* Maybe your company could contribute some fixes to NetBeans. I'm quite
certain you have the know how to fix some of the bugs you are encountering.

* Perhaps you or someone from your company would be interested about a
NetBeans testimonial on codeswith.com? I haven't published an article there
in some time and the story sounds good so far.
