A bit more info on the files you have would help.

Like what type of app is it?  JavaFX/ML or Plain Java app, or what?

However, I would look at creating a new project and manually adding in the source files. If they are already in the correct directory structure according to their package names then this should be quite easy.

Was it an Ant, Gradle or Maven project?

What do you want/need it to be now?

That should get you thinking.
