I just got an email from GitHub when I did a push of a NetBeans project. It said:
You recently used a password to access the repository at richpri/board18v2
with git using JGit/5.5.1.201910021850-r.

Basic authentication using a password to Git is deprecated and will soon no longer work.
It referred me to https://github.blog/2020-12-15-token-authentication-requirements-for-git-operations/
for more information.

Does NetBeans 12.0 support token-based authentication?
If so, how do I implement it?
