Apparently NetBeans sees Excel spreadsheets as zip files (which they
are). Unfortunately, that seems to eliminate the “Open From System”
item from the right click menu. “Open in Terminal” requires Cygwin.
Tools>Options>Miscellaneous>Files has no mime type for Excel files, so
it seems that a new extension type cannot be added there.
