I'm using the latest NetbeansIDE on JDK 21, which is on the latest LTS UbuntuStudio Linux.  I am using a 4K monitor with the Ubuntu display settings scaling factor at 125% to make the text more comfortable to read on many applications I use.

You could also add something like "--fontsize 20" to the netbeans_default_options parameters in netbeans.conf. Then all fonts will be larger.
