Hi Tom,

Maybe you didn't update recently, my freshly updated Chrome says:

This extension was turned off because it is no longer supported
Chrome recommends that you remove it.

The NetBeans Connector page in Chrome Web Store says:
 
This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best
practices for Chrome extensions.
