The issue may be that you're running with JDK 17? Something we should possibly highlight more is that NetBeans 30 requires JDK 21+. Issues can be reported on the main NetBeans repository for Snap. I assume you're not experimenting with AOT, but if you have been also see https://github.com/apache/netbeans/issues/9392 NetBeans 30 was officially released on Monday. It takes a couple of days for things to be updated. Laszlo made the Snap available to the release channel yesterday. The Codelerity installers are also already available. The website (and announcement) is currently the last part of the puzzle when all the other bits it links to are in place. It should be able to go live from today.
