Hi Pierre,

Thanks for the prompt answer.
We don’t foresee to change NiFi version in the near future but will bear your
suggestion in mind.
Thanks.

Hi Pedro,

It's hard to have a definitive answer on this as it also depends on what you're
using in your flows but you may have some issues. I'd highly recommend using
the latest of Apache NiFi 1.x (NiFi 1.26) if you want to run it with Java 21.

Thanks,
Pierre

Hello,

We intend to update our environments to JAVA21.
We are currently working with Apache NiFi 1.20.0 on Docker with image
apache/nifi:1.20.0.
Our JAVA update scope doesn’t include upgrading NiFi and so far we only found
reference in Nifi Release notes confirming NiFi 1.20.0 requires JAVA11 or later
but no specifics on JDK21.

Before assuming NiFi 1.20.0 has no issue with JDK21, could you point us to
where we can find specific data regarding this and/or further steps we would
need take to ensure compatibility between NiFi 1.20.0 and JDK21?
Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Pedro Soto Fernández
