Hey David. Sorry the absence. Just for the record, we solve the problem. We aren't using System.setProperty anymore. Now we're registering the public certificate using protocols and dynamic socket factories. It's very tricky (at least for me), but solved the problem.
Just a few more days and the product will be ready to be shipped.
