I would like to have a frontend JSF Application @Inject a remote EJB from a remote OpenEJB Server. I'm unsure how to configure TomEE to do this. I've read the docs http://openejb.apache.org/clients.html for clients but I was wondering if there was a way to have TomEE satisfy @EJB/@Inject with dependencies from a remote server. I'm fairly certain I could do this with @Provides, but I don't want to re-implement the wheel.
