You can reproduce the issue running with tomee profile and EveryThingTest. The test uses Tomee remote adapter and points to Tomee installed at target/apache-tomee. I set up Tomee using tomee mvn plugin to put hibernate and needed jars in tomee/lib. Everything you need is in pom.xml There is also the tomee-embedded profile that you can work with, but it also does not work. Ideally it would be great if we can run tests in both adapters, if not, remote will be a good start for now.
