I am having a similar problem ... was there a solution in the end ? My problem seems to be related to the <ui:repeat> tag which is unrecognised. I guess this means that faces is not configured correctly. I have added the TomEE/lib as a user library to the Build path in Eclipse and also set my Eclipse project to include Faces 2.0 ...
