Hi Daryl, I just submitted a release candidate for 1.2.2 which doesn't include OPENJPA-1424. Right now I don't want to take any more fixes than absolutely needed to get the release done, but I'll take a look at the fix and see if it can be included in 1.2.3 (scheduled for March 19).
