One question, earlier we were using @PersistentContext and we did not face any issue, like we were not even closing entitymanager and we have not defined persistentcontext type to EXTENDED ( i think default is TRANSACTION). After changing code to retrieve entitymanagers from entitymanagerfactory for persistenunit, we are facing these issues. I wanted to understand, does that make any difference if we are not using @persistentcontext annotation?
