I think I've managed to track down this problem to my own mapserver... I tested with the MetaCarta-Mapserver in Untiled-Mode and both, locations and markers stayed fixed on their positions, even after zooming and dragging like a maniac. Think our MapServer needs some reconfiguration... Are their any examples for .map-Files available (perhaps the ones you have used for the live examples)? However, the untiled thing is new to me. Sharing an example with the list would help accelerate debugging on that one.
