Hi Chris, very basic this works: map = new OpenLayers.Map( "map", { controls: [] } );
This produces the pink tiles: map = new OpenLayers.Map( "map", { numZoomLevels: 5, controls: [] } ); Perhaps something else happening in the script however, we are just using the map api for adding the controls setting center, extents etc. S.D.
