Hi Bart, setOpacity for Google layers doesn't work with 2.9.
http://gis.ibbeck.de/OLClient/examples/spherical-mercator_29.html In the Google API key I call v=2.93. Wether it's an issue with the other commercial layers, i haven't tested. I don't use them.
