I have seen this also and don't seem to pickup the rotation..
I thought that if I had told extractStyles: false and
rotation: "${heading}" but to no avail as the heading is part of the KML
styles :(.
Although I would have thought the layer would still read the stylesheet if
specified and extractStyles: true. But it appears it does not.
