Hi All, I have a WMS layer for contours from geoserver, each contour is a ring shaped polygon consisting of an outer and an inner circle and has to be rendered with an unique color. The layer displays OK when all the contours are inside the view extent. But when the map is moved/zoomed and part of the contours is outside the map extent, the color of the contours changed -- color of all the inner polygons become a mixture of the original color and the color of the outer polygon that is partly outside the extent (fill-opacity=0.5 ). It looks like that when a ring shaped polygon is partly outside the view, the inner circle has no effect. I have viewed the WMS layer on QuantumGIS and it is the same story (different when added directly from PostGIS). The following images shows the layer when totally/partly inside the map extent:
