Hi,
   This happens when the parser can't find advance any of its candidate
parses because none of them exceed the threshold for doing do.  Typically
the parser has garden path-ed somewhere previously or this is a parse that
doesn't look like the training data such as a fragment.  The parser used
for the coreference module has been modified slightly to return a shallow
parse in these cases so that subsequent processing can proceed.
