You said that your ”sum” function doesn't work, but how do you know? As far as I can see, you don't use it… This is how to use the SUM function for A1:A5: =SUM(A1:A5) If it now displays the formula rather than the result, check ”Tools → Options” for something like ”show formulas” and uncheck it.
