Short answer: No. Long answer: Definitely _NOT_ recommended, but if you can live without some of the program modules (eg. Base, Impress, Draw, etc.) you can do a "custom" install/repair to exclude the modules you do not require/use. The downside to this is that the disk space saving is trivial and some functionality in the modules you do require may be lost. If the disk space on your laptop is so critically limited you might consider installing the portable editions on a USB memory stick/card.
