I recently tried to install AOO V4.1.1 on a friend's laptop running Windows 8. It extracted fine and started the setup. When it tried to install the Visual C++ 2008 redistributable it said that it could not find the file and the installation failed.
The install was run from the administrator account and was done bot with and without "run as administrator" with the same results. Any light that can be shed on what to try next would be greatly appreciated. Regards Keith
