I can also confirm with AOO 4.1.12 on Ubuntu. The same happens in Writer
for me.

If you move the Format toolbar just a little bit the Find toolbar will
become visible again.

I cannot reproduce that behavior in AOO42X, so it seems to be fixed.
If I am able to locate the changes I would want to cherry-pick it for
the next AOO41X release.
