I was using OpenOffice 1.1.1 when it began refusing to open, with the error message 'Get Storage, name: "No Content!'. I tried downloading version 1.1.3, but this made no difference. Help! John
This is unfortunately a problem that sometimes occurs where one of your settings file becomes corrupted. Please search on your computer for files named "Common.xcu". One of them should be in a path which ends with "user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Common.xcu" (with "\" instead of "/" if you are using Windows). Normally if you try and open this file with a standard text editor, it will appear completely empty. Please remove or rename that file and then start OpenOffice.org again and the problem should not occur anymore.
