[users] Mixed OS Lan Linux/XP/Win98 and network OOo install?

Our Lan has a file and print server running Mandrake Linux, and a half 
dozen workstations running Windows (some Win98, some XPhome).  We want 
to move from MSWord on the workstations to OOo.  Can we do a network 
install of OOo on the Linux server that will be used by the workstations 
running Windows or must we install locally on each workstation because 
of the difference in OS?

I would consider installing the shared version of OOo on one of the 
Windows computers, but since they all run XPHome, I think the limit on 
the number of active network connections XPHome will permit would be a 
problem.
