You're welcome. I've seen this too, although I haven't seen it lately. This is
why I know there is an issue about it. I did not realize it was an intermittent
failure. I remember it to be an incompatibility in the way that Mozilla and OOo
use the clipboard, but my memory is not that great, and I'd need to find the
issue to be sure of what I read.
I use a text editor when it happens. I paste the info there, then pick it up
from there and paste again. I use Thunderbird now, and before that I had
upgraded to later versions of Mozilla. I wonder if that makes the difference in
why I have not seen this lately, but I may have developed habits that cause me
to work-around it without thinking about it.
I think it's curious that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Which distribution of Linux do you use? Which desktop do you use? (My desktop is
almost always Gnome.)
