Greetings!

I've recently jumped on Open Office via Neo Office, and I'm floored by the features and capabilities of this package. I hope to contribute some well-due contributions in the near future once I get a dog sled to the bank.

Having imported a hundred-page manuscript containing assorted paragraph ruler settings, I'd like to know whether there's a method in which I can set up the Styles function to label particular paragraph settings with specifically colored fonts/tex (if OOc can discriminate like-ruled non-OOc formatted paragraphs to begin with.)

I already tried using the Styles Catalog Modify function but it will only change the color of the paragraph which the cursor is on, not executing the change throughout the document. Any assist would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

James Greenidge

James, could you repost this to the list *without* using the reply button? That way it will start a new thread instead of 'hijacking' this one. It's easier for people to see how the discussion is evolving and what the topic is that way - thanks
