Neo Office/j is a fork of OpenOffice that uses Carbon/Java to create an OpenOffice based application that uses OSX native menus, as well as native font handeling and printing, all without a need of an installed X11 server. In fact, it is based on a slightly newer version- the latest "regular" (X11) OpenOffice.org for OSX is 1.1.2, while NeoOffice/j beta is based on 1.1.3 It is a very nice project, and for most things on my Mac I use NeoOffice and not OpenOffice. -- Shoshannah Forbes http://www.xslf.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
