Unsure if there is a page which can assist with verifying that
'installation' is correct. However there are md5 sums which will tell
you whether the file downloaded correctly. The page that lists these
md5 values can be found here (make sure you select the correct one for
the version of OOo & platform that you have):
http://download.openoffice.org/2.0beta/md5sums.html

If your unsure about md5 then have a look at the links on the page and
search the web.

After all that however, if you are using OOo then it could be assumed
that installation (and therefore the downloaded file) are correct and
checking the md5 is not required.  The final choice is yours.
