OOo has no key requirement. It is Open Source and is free. 

Downloading from http://www.openoffice.org/ is where you should have got
it. If you got it from somewhere else then, I do not know.

Let us know where you got it from so we can follow up. 

In the meantime, please delete whatever you have as it is not
OpenOffice.org. Yu can check that by using md5sum.exe. If you do not
have this program on your system you can get it from
http://tinyurl.com/58zw4 under Instructions for using md5sums. Compare
what you have to the listed md5sum for the language you use. For
example, OOo_1.1.4_Win32Intel_install.zip.

I hope this helps you to get a good copy of OpenOffice.org.
