Hi Roderick and everyone, Many thanks for the tip (in a previous post I wrote: in answer to my question on how to create vertical text boxes in an OpenOffice document Roderick suggested using frames, info about which starts p. 83 of the OpenOffice users guide)
Yes, you were right, Roderick :) Info on frames starts on p. 83. So, I tried once more, again unsuccessfully. So, I think I'll just install Word 2000 in addition to OpenOffice. In Word at least I know how to create vertical text boxes. I can do that in OpenOffice too, but there the problem seems to be that the longer the vertical text gets the longer the text box becomes ... :( Perhaps something, the OpenOffice developers need to work on a it more?!
