Opening content.xml as text found no occurrence of table:dde-link or
anything like it.
Try searching for <office:dde-source> or <text:dde-connection-decls> or even try to search for dde (you will get a lot of false positives like "hiDDEn").
It believe it should be somewhere on content.xml.
I'm sorry but I'm on linux (no DDE on linux, or at least I'm not aware of it) and can't check it.
If you are insterested, the format is defined here:

But this is a 500 page long technical pdf, not an easy reading. And yes, DDE gives quite a lot of hits.
